Hänglar & Whiff of Joy

Hänglarin blogiin tein paikkakortit. Kuusenmallisen sekä tähden muotoisen. Leimakuvina käytin niitä pienempiä versioita leimasimista. Joitain leimasimiahan löytyy kahta eri kokoa.

I made some placemarkers to Hänglar blog. One tree shape and the other with star shape. I used the smaller stamp for these. There is two different sizes of these stamps.

Jos pöydässä istuu enemmänkin porukkaa on hyvä koristella taustatkin ja tässä näkymä takapuolelta.

If there is many people around the table some of them are looking to the back side. So I thought to decorate them also.

Sisään kirjoitin pienet runonpätkät.

To the inside I wrote a piece of poem.

StampARTicin kalenteriin osui minulle marraskuu. Sinänsä aika vaikea kuukausi kun ei se ole vielä talvinen vaan oikeastaan se kaikkein synkin ja pimein. No en tietenkään halunnut sivusta sellaista vaan päädyin sitten maanläheisiin sävyihin enkä kaikkein synkimpiin niissäkään. Eikös marraskuu voisi olla vaikka hyvä leivontakuukausi ???

We were making a calender at StampARTic. One page for each of us and also couple of guests. I got the November which is quite difficult, I think. It is not the winter month and not really an autumn month eiter. It is the darkest one, so I thought it would be a great month to bake :)

Eilen kävin vähän kaupungilla ja etsin tyttären joulujuhlaan punaista tai harmaata mekkoa. Arvaa löytyikö? No eipä tietenkään... sellaisia metrin mittaisia olisi kyllä ollut mutta kun koko on 146 niin eihän sellaisia ole olemassakaan. Jouduin sitten kaivelemaan kangaslaatikoitani. (Samalla puhaltelin pölyjä niiden päältä.) Ei meinannut löytyä mitään käyttökelpoista mutta sitten viimeisessä lootassa oli punainen ohut villakangas josta on mekko väännettävä keskiviikoksi eli hyppään tästä piirtämään kaavoja...

Yesterday I was walking around some shops. Trying to find a red or grey dress for my daughter. She needs it to the Christmas party at school. My daughter is wearing size 146 cm and ofcourse there was no dresses for that size. I had to go to my fabric store (it is really a store :) I could establish a small shop with them, says my hubby.) I found one red woolen fabric and now I need to start to get it ready for Wednesday.
